"To photograph reality is to photograph nothing." - Duane Michals Reality is an illusion, it is subjective, deceptive and forever changing. Just altering your angle of view alone can make things appear very different. And they will transform once again if only you wait and observe for a moment or two, or invite another person to take your place. Reality is therefore not singular. There are multiple realities, all existing concurrently, changing constantly and all equally illusory and subjective. I enjoy observing multiple realities (or multiple layers of a single reality) intersect and transform each other creating something entirely new. A shop window merging the “inside” with the “outside” by reflecting a scene from across the street, people on a bus, its windows reflecting one city view after another, mirror-like surfaces distorting, multiplying or superimposing objects and people.
